Terms and Conditions for Bellevue Glazing
1. Quotes & Orders
All quotations are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all
details are correct. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Changes in specification may result in a revised quotation. Timescales
are estimates only. Bellevue Glazing cannot accept liability for delays beyond our control. Drawings or samples are for
illustration only unless included in the contract.
2. Surveys & Specifications
A survey may be required prior to manufacture or installation. The customer (or representative) must be present.
Additional surveys are chargeable. Any changes following a survey will be confirmed in writing and may affect price or
timescale.
3. Contracts & Payments
A contract is formed once the quotation is accepted, the agreement is signed, and the deposit is received. Payments are
by bank transfer, referencing the invoice or contract number. Stage payments must be made as agreed; work may be
delayed or rescheduled if payment is late. Late payments may incur 5% monthly interest. The customer must obtain all
necessary permissions before work begins.
4. Installation
Installation dates are confirmed once materials and payments are in place. The site must be ready, safe, and accessible. If
work cannot begin or complete due to site issues or restricted access, a rescheduling fee may apply. Bellevue Glazing
includes standard finishing such as sealant and internal making good within reasonable limits. Decoration, structural
support, leadwork, or other non-specified work is excluded. Products become the customer’s responsibility once installed.
Bellevue Glazing operates Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 17:00, unless otherwise agreed.
5. Cancellations
Customers may cancel within 14 days of signing the contract. If a survey or materials have been ordered, related costs still
apply. Cancellations must be made in writing. Bellevue Glazing may cancel the contract in writing and refund any balance
for uncompleted work.
6. Guarantees
The contract serves as proof of guarantee. Bellevue Glazing guarantees its products and workmanship as follows from the
date of installation:
• Aluminium/PVC Frames: 10 years
• Timber Frames: 2 years
• Glass sealed units: 5 years
• Hinges, locks, handles, and wheels: 5 years
• Painted timber finish: 2 years
• Stained timber finish: 1 year
No guarantee is given against condensation. Guarantees apply only after full payment is received and remain with the
property. They can transfer to new owners if Bellevue Glazing is notified in writing within 4 weeks of sale. Commercial or
tenanted installations carry a 1-year guarantee.
7. Guarantee Limitations
Exclusions include wear and tear, misuse, poor maintenance, corrosion, glass breakage after installation, water ingress
through flush thresholds, structural movement, or third-party work. Bellevue Glazing will decide whether to repair or
replace items within a reasonable time.
8. Liability & General Terms
Bellevue Glazing is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, delays, or third-party costs. Total liability is limited to the
contract value. All work complies with Health & Safety standards. These terms are governed by the laws of England and
Wales.
